
Professor Joaquim Albenisio Silveira awarded by the Brazilian Society of Plant Physiology

Award to Professor Joaquim Albenísio Gomes da Silveira, Full Professor, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Federal University of Ceará, during the XVII Brazilian Congress of Plant Physiology in recognition of his invaluable contribution to Plant Physiology in Brazil.
LabPlant attendeds to XVII Brazilian Congress of Plant Physiology - Cuiabá, Brazil (2019)

Several members of the LabPlant team attended to the Brazilian Congress of Plant Physiology, held in Cuiabá, Brazil from 9-13 June, 2019. In this conference also were present Professor Aurenivia Bonifácio (UFPI) and Professor Milton Lima Neto (UNESP), both former Ph.D. students in the LabPlant team.

The Ph.D student Valeria Lima during oral presentation of the work: "The sucrose-to-malate ratio correlates with the faster CO2 and light stomatal responses in angiosperms compared to ferns" at the XVII Brazilian Congress of Plant Physiology, Cuiabá-Brazil, 2019.

The Post doc researcher Ana Karla M. Lobo during oral presentation of the work: "AtAREB1 overexpression in cotton enhances water use efficiency but not improve growth in response to mild drought" at the XVII Brazilian Congress of Plant Physiology, Cuiabá-Brazil, 2019.

The Post doc researcher Fabricio Eulálio L. Carvalho during oral presentation of the work: "Nitrogen utilization efficiency during luxury consumption and early deficiency is improved by sustaining nitrate reductase activity and photosynthesis in cotton plants" at the XVII Brazilian Congress of Plant Physiology, Cuiabá-Brazil, 2019.
